Our Story

 

Accreditation and Metrology Solutions was founded in February 2022 by the proprietor utilising his extensive expertise in ISO/IEC 17025 and Metrology with more than 25 years experience in Metrology and Test Engineering in ISO/IEC 17025 and/or ISO 9001 compliant facilities covering a wide spectrum of industries from Design and Manufacturing to Test and Calibration Laboratories from low volume niche products to mass production. This experience is further supplemented by his most recent work with the Australian National Accreditation Body, NATA, as a Lead Accreditation Specialist for over 9 years planning and conducting National and International Assessments as Lead Assessor covering a wide spectrum of activities and providing support as Client Manager for key clients such as the National Measurement Institute of Australia.

Our expertise covers the following areas:

  • Calibration: All Metrology areas in the Calibration Sector (e.g. Electrical, Temperature, Dimensional, Chemical, Ionising Radiation, Force, Volume and Density, Optical, Pressure, Mass, Acoustics, Vibration, Flow, Torque and Ultrasonic Metrologies).

  • Testing: Electrotechnology and Performance and Approvals Testing (e.g. Emissions and Immunity Testing, Ionising Radiation, Evaluation of Electrical Appliances and Devices, Electrical Equipment Approval and Safety Evaluation, Mechanical Performance Evaluation of Vehicle Safety, Evaluation of Energy Efficiency Classification, Evaluation of High Voltage and Power Equipment and Components, Pattern Approval and Physical Performance Evaluation of Metering and Trade Measurement Equipment).

  • Information Technology: All areas in Information and Communication Technology Testing (e.g. Evaluation of Healthcare Software (eHealth), Evaluation of General Software, Testing of Gaming Machines and Gaming Systems and Evaluation of Information Security Systems).

Identifying a shortage in the industry for consultancy services to assist facilities achieve and maintain accreditation, resolve issues that arise from the accreditation and assessment process, as well as assist facilities in certain technical aspects in the Metrology area, Accreditation and Metrology Solutions was founded as a one stop consultancy service for ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation and Metrology services at an affordable and competitive rate. We are based in Brisbane and servicing the Australian and global market, offering to assist facilities and business owners to reach their maximum potential and maintain a competitive edge in their respective industry.
